About Faythe
I was raised right here in the Methow Valley, and I still can't get over the way the evening light spills across these hills. That golden hour glow is where the name Gold Lens came from, and it's what I chase every time I pick up my camera.
I believe everyone deserves to feel seen and comfortable in front of the camera. My sessions are intimate and inclusive. I'll guide you through poses, ask what you love, and be patient with the littles (and the nervous dads!). My goal is that you walk away with photos that feel like you.
I'm so grateful for every family that has trusted me with their memories. Thank you for letting me do what I love.

How booking works
1. Say hello
Send me a message with what you're dreaming of, your date, and location ideas.
2. Save your date
All sessions require a deposit to hold your spot. Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to a future session.
3. Your session
We'll plan for golden hour whenever we can. I'll guide you the whole way, so no experience needed!
4. Your gallery
Your edited images are delivered in a private online gallery, ready to download, share, and print.

FAQ
What should we wear?
Pick colors that feel like you and play nicely together. Earthy, warm tones (cream, rust, sage, denim, brown) glow in golden light. Avoid big logos and neon. I'm always happy to help you plan outfits!
When do sessions happen?
Most outdoor sessions are scheduled around golden hour, the hour or so before sunset, when the light is soft and warm. In summer that can be pretty late in the evening!
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Valley weather has a mind of its own. If it's unsafe or truly miserable, we'll reschedule together. Your deposit transfers to the new date.
How do deposits work?
All sessions require a deposit to book. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to future sessions.
Do you travel?
I'm based in Carlton and shoot all over the Methow Valley: Twisp, Winthrop, Mazama, Pateros, and the rest of Okanogan County. Further away? Just ask!
How long until I get my photos?
I'm known for a quick turnaround! Timing depends on the session type and season. I'll let you know your delivery estimate when you book.
